A great start
Despite these challenges, the growing season is off to a great start and our ARA is already out and about, treating various seasonal crops throughout Europe.
- In the grassland to treat rumex
- Onions
- Volunteer potatoes in sugar beets and onions
- Sugar beets
- Spinach and lettuce
Up in the hills and pre-Alps, ARA is currently treating Rumex. For decades, treating Rumex has been a rather tedious and time-consuming task which is now easier thanks to ARA’s ultra-high precision spot spraying system.
Also, on the seasonal radar are onions and volunteer potato. For the next few weeks ARA will be scouring fields managing onion weed control where catch-up treatments are needed. Depending on the onion field’s progress, two to three full treatments have already been done. The ARA is also ready for the onion field’s potato regrowth, which will be treated soon.
Another crop on ARA’s list - sugar beets. The sugar beet fields have already been fully treated and catch-up treatments with ARA will be starting in the coming days.
Finally, our annual friends - spinach and lettuce! Spinach and lettuce are continuously planted throughout the year which makes them an exciting target for ARA
