A Solution When Selective Inputs Don't Work

Ecorobotix came and did a treatment using ARA with a non-selective contact herbicide using its safety zone feature. Here's the result, on the left the field without our treatment, on the right the treatment done by ARA.

Visible Results

Phytotoxicity and weed pressure both impact yield quantity. In the example below ARA proves it doesn't just do the job, it actually gets better results than standard broadcast spraying:

Non-Treated (Class mm)

No herbicides are applied—used as a control in tests. Weak yield results due to uncontrolled weed pressure.

Broadcast Spraying (Class mm)

Herbicides are sprayed evenly across an entire field, covering both weeds & crops. Weed pressure is controlled, but yield suffered from phytotoxicity.

ARA, Selective (Class mm)

AI targets specific weeds, spraying only them with selective herbicides. Result shows a higher yield than broadcast spraying.

ARA, Non-Selective (Class mm)

AI sprays only weeds with non-selective herbicides, avoiding crops. Result shows a higher yield than broadcast spraying.

We have treated more than 1,750 hectares of onions with ARA, which has allowed us to achieve savings of up to 96% on raw chemical inputs. Of course, this depends on weed pressure and crop growth stage, but we are very satisfied with the results.
