In 2025, precision agriculture takes another step forward with the integration of the Carrot algorithm in our catalog. After a season of successful field tests, this innovation has proved its effectiveness in optimizing carrot harvesting while reducing costs and environmental impact. Designed to meet farmers' specific challenges, the Carrot algorithm enables targeted, ultra-precise spraying, proactively eliminating weeds and facilitating clean, profitable harvests.
Advantages thanks to our Plant-by-Plant technology:
→ Reducing manual weeding
→ Healthier, more vigorous crops
→ Efficient spot treatments and less phytotoxicity

When carrots are harvested, weeds wrap themselves around the carpet. This is a real problem. We have to remove them by hand, which slows down the carrot harvest considerably. Thanks to the ARA treatment, the harvest is cleaner, which saves us considerable labor costs.

The Carrot Algorithm Wins an Award!

The international LAMMA trade show in England awarded our new Carrot algorithm the “Silver” prize for innovation of the year in the “Arable Crop Care” category!
From a BETA algorithm to a validated, marketed algorithm
Before each launch, our algorithms undergo rigorous field testing. For a full season, they are made available free of charge to users to evaluate their performance under real-life conditions. This process ensures that each algorithm perfectly meets farmers' needs before being included in our catalog.

New Algorithms Available for Testing by ARA Sprayer Users – Reducing the Quantity of Plant Protection Products Used on a Wider Range of Crops
Ecorobotix, a Swiss B Corporation® certified company and leader in sustainable AgTech, announces the launch of ten new beta algorithms for its Plant-by-Plant™ AI software, further enhancing the adaptability of the ultra-precise ARA sprayer. These advancements expand the range of supported crops, enabling more farmers to reduce the use of plant protection products and adopt sustainable farming practices.

New Beta Algorithms for 2025
- Broccoli
- Cauliflower
- Cotton
- Dicotyledons in cereals
- Leeks
- Ragwort in pastures
- Soybean
- Sweet corn
- Volunteer potatoes in chicory
- Other cabbages
The beta algorithms are available free of charge during the testing period. Their agronomic effectiveness is still under development, and users accept the associated risks.
Customers with an ARA sprayer can access these algorithms for free for a limited time. While they are still being refined, they offer the opportunity to contribute to optimizing their agronomic performance. These beta features provide early access to innovative tools while supporting the evolution of our precision technology.
Optimized and Paid Algorithms for 2025
The Carrot and Dock + Rumex (for pastures) algorithms, successfully tested in 2024, are now available as paid features. These solutions have been optimized to deliver exceptional precision in various field conditions, reducing the use of chemicals while ensuring effective crop protection.
Increased Versatility and Sustainability
The ARA sprayer now supports more than 20 crop algorithms, providing unparalleled application precision for herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, fertilizers, and biostimulants. With a reduction of up to 95% in chemical use, this technology enables farmers to adopt sustainable practices without compromising their productivity. Flexible alternatives, such as the “All-Green” or “Row” algorithms, are available for crops not yet covered by our technology.
Ecorobotix innovations are available in 15 European countries, Canada, South America, the United States, and New Zealand, thereby expanding sustainable agricultural solutions globally.
