Ministerial visit
On of the highlights of Sival Angers 2023 for us: our stand received a distinguished guest! Marc Fesneau, Minister for Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, visited us on Wednesday, during the second day of the show.
"We had a very interesting conversation and I was impressed by the Minister's interest in new technologies," said Claude Juriens, our Chief Business Officer. Mr. Fesneau and our team talked about the drastic reduction of IFT in the field thanks to our ultra-precise spraying.
Our gold medal at the SIVAL Innovation 2023 competition has earned us a lot of media interest. Ecorobotix has been quoted in an impressive number of articles, which means substantial visibility for our technology and our products.
Ecorobotix has been awarded the 2024 Avantgarde Award by the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce (Swiss AmCham) Southern California. This honor celebrates our dedication to advancing Swiss-American business relations through forward-looking innovation and impactful contributions to sustainable agriculture. After placing as a finalist last year, we are incredibly proud to have achieved first place in 2024.
At Ecorobotix, we are dedicated to delivering cutting-edge precision spraying technology that empowers farmers to significantly reduce herbicide usage. Data from nearly 3,000 missions in onion fields using our ARA ultra-high precision sprayer reveals impressive results, with nearly 70% of all missions achieving herbicide savings of 80%, and some missions saving as much as 98%.
Noud van Gog, a farmer and contractor based in Liessel, Netherlands, manages a substantial area of chicory and sugar beets, covering 580 hectares and 710 hectares, respectively. Dedicated to keeping his fields clean from weeds, he employs a strategic mix of mechanical weeding and spraying with Ecorobotix’s ARA precision sprayer, aiming to minimize chemical usage while maximizing crop health and yield.
