Preliminary Results
The team noted a clear growth defect on the onions sprayed with the conventional sprayer, the onions are considerably smaller than the onions in the plots treated with ARA. Overall crop health with the ARA sprayer seems much higher than with the conventional spraying method, even when increasing the dosages of the herbicides used.
Further testing will be completed, and conclusive results are to be published towards the end of the season.

Meet our new CEO: Simon Aspinall
We’ve hired Silicon-valley executive Simon Aspinall as our new CEO to drive global growth. Simon is a highly experienced international start-up executive with over two decades of experience in large corporates (Cisco, EMC, Dell) and Silicon Valley startups. He was an executive at Virtustream, an enterprise cloud company, as it grew from a startup to a multimillion-dollar business and was then acquired by Dell/EMC for $1.2 billion.
As part of the 2022 expansion strategy Ecorobotix has added distributors in Germany, France, Italy, Netherland, Belgium and Czech Republic and plans further growth across Europe and North & South America in 2023.

ARA recent test runs
We recently published stories about various test runs we organised this spring in Switzerland. Namely in onion fields and cornfields, where we achieved a 95% detection and treatment rate. Our corn algorithm is still in development but we plan to release it next year.

40 ARA machines are currently up and running in Europe, with 30 only in Switzerland. Other countries need to catch up! The 2022 production is sold out, but orders are open for 2023.
